SAFETY

Psalm 20:6-7 – “Now I know that the Lord saveth His anointed; He will hear from His Holy Heaven with the saving strength of His right hand. Some trust in chariots and some in horses, but we will remember the Name of the Lord our God.” “I, the Lord speak righteousness, I declare things that are right.”

When the days of terrible trouble and destruction come, really, there is nowhere to hide. You can tell yourself that your storm shelter and stored food or guns will save you, but desperate folks do desperate things, and horrible things. God has been speaking to some of His own about safe places to keep to or to prepare. Even now, many public places are not safe; if there is an altercation of some sort, people have been trapped, and law enforcement has its limitations. The Father may even have you change your whole mindset about shopping and traveling with your family. I don’t think we can trust the things we have trusted before.

Some cities and retailers have installed software along with the facial recognition cameras that can even read your lips to make out what you are saying. Their provided internet can scan and explore your connected phone as you visit the store, to see what you chat about and what you are searching for, either for marketing or ‘the interest of public safety’. This brings to my mind II Tim 3:6 – “For among them are those who worm their way into households and capture the idol women (picture of flesh), burdened with sins, led along by a variety of passions” … (emphasis, mine).

Oh, my goodness, we do not know what we are getting into in some of these places, so if the Lord is dealing with you about staying away from things and places, don’t decide it is just in your mind. Truly, He leads His own as we trust in Him, remembering that He has our safety, and well-being in mind, spiritually and naturally speaking; so, hear Him and lean not to your own understanding and your own carnal thinking and reasoning. It could keep you from destruction and troubles.
